Refunds

Mirror Studio offers a 14-day refund window from the time of purchase. To start a refund, file a ticket below or email support@themirror.vip with your order ID — we reply within 24 hours.

Full terms (eligibility, processing time, exceptions) live in the refund policy. We do not restate them here so the policy itself remains the single source of truth.

PDF delivery

Deep chart PDFs are emailed to the address on your account once the Reader signs off on the draft. You will also see the file in your /account dashboard under "My deep charts".

If the email has not arrived an hour after the sign-off notification, check your spam folder — Gmail and Outlook occasionally mis-flag PDF attachments from new senders. If it is still missing, open a ticket below with your order ID and we will look at the generation log and re-send.

Account

To sign in, use email + password from the sign-in page. If you have forgotten your password, click "Forgot password?" — we will email a reset link.

To change the email on your account, file a ticket from your current address so we can verify ownership before transferring. If you cannot access your old inbox, include your most recent order ID and we will help verify another way.

Two-factor authentication is on the roadmap; for now your inbox is the source of truth for account recovery.

Shipping

Mirror Studio is digital-first: deep chart PDFs, naming manuals, and counsel sessions are all delivered electronically. No package, no tracking number.

Physical artifacts — a printed Almanac, hardback naming books, signed cards — are not part of 1.0. If you have pre-ordered something physical and do not see status, file a ticket and we will check.

International customers: deliverables are sent to the email you registered, so your country of residence does not change timing.

General

For partnership inquiries (workshops, translations, collaborations), include the word "partnership" in the subject line and someone from the studio will route it to the right person.

Mirror Studio is a small team and Reader hours do not scale; if the queue is long during a release week, we appreciate your patience.

Deep chart edits

Once a deep chart PDF is signed by the Reader and delivered, its narrative becomes the official record. We do not silently swap pages — every change is logged with a reason.

If you spot a factual error in your birth time, birth place, or name spelling, file a ticket within 14 days of delivery (the same window as Refunds). We can either regenerate the chart at no extra cost or refund the order under the refund policy — your choice.

Stylistic or interpretive disagreements (e.g. "I do not like this paragraph") are not grounds for a free regeneration. Readers write from craft, not from preference; we can still discuss specific lines with you through a counsel session.

Naming follow-up

Your naming manual lists 8–10 candidates with rationale (five-element balance, phonetic continuity, semantic resonance). After delivery, you can ask follow-up questions for free within 14 days — file a ticket and reference your order ID.

Common follow-ups: "Why was this character chosen?", "Can you suggest a variant that keeps the second character?", "Does this name work in Cantonese / Hokkien tones?". We answer in writing through the ticket thread.

For deeper conversations (e.g. matching name to baby photos, ceremony naming, English↔Chinese parallels), book a counsel session once they open — see the Counsel section below.

Counsel booking

One-on-one counsel sessions with the Reader are not yet open for general booking. We are calibrating queue length so that quality stays consistent — opening too early would dilute attention per session.

When booking opens, the /counsel page will switch from "Notify me" to a live calendar. If you want to be in the first wave, mail support@themirror.vip with subject "Counsel waitlist" and your time zone.

For urgent questions in the meantime, a written ticket on this page often gets you a useful answer within 24 hours — slower than a live call, but the same Reader is on the other end.

Data export & deletion

You can request an export of all data Mirror Studio holds about you (birth data, orders, charts, tickets, naming records) by filing a ticket from your registered email. We deliver a single JSON archive within 7 business days at no charge.

You can also request deletion of your account. Once we confirm via your registered email, we erase personal identifiers and decouple chart records from your identity within 30 days. Anonymized analytics may remain.

These rights apply globally to Mirror Studio customers. We are not currently certified for mainland China data residency requirements; if that matters to you, please consult [[project_china_mainland_plan]] direction in our public roadmap before purchasing.

Language switching

Mirror Studio is built EN ↔ ZH bilingual by default. The footer language switcher persists your choice in a cookie so subsequent visits open in the language you last used.

If a page renders in the wrong language, scroll to the footer and toggle once — that resets the cookie. Some pages (legal documents in particular) authoritatively render the language at the URL level; switching there reloads the page.

Emails and PDFs are generated in the language you used when placing the order, independent of your current site preference. To switch the language of future deliverables, change the toggle before checkout. If you need a translation of a past PDF, file a ticket and we will see whether the Reader has bandwidth.
